STAR fuse units are basically used to avoid any case of fire or accident due to overloading. In case of any activity of overloading, the fuse wire melts resulting in breaking the flow of current and saving any unfortunate incident.
Re-wirable fuse units: STAR re-wirable fuse units are specially designed to compliment Star
switchgears and can be used for domestic and industrial applications. These fuse units
comprise of vitreous steatite porcelain complete with their conducting parts. Contacts are
made of heavy electrolytic copper & brass parts.
